“Goldivine (Powder Blend for Golden Milk)” is a miraculous formula developed combining the highest-grade freeze-dried, pure turmeric powder with the right proportions of Ceylon spices and other priceless ingredients. Imagine how nice it would be to have a variety of natural super components combined into a single recipe and be able to consume them all as a tasty beverage that can be made in two minutes by combining half a tea spoon of the powder mixture with hot milk.

Why consuming turmeric in the form of milk is a more effective method than including it in curry dishes

1. When consumed in liquid form, nutrients are absorbed into the body more quickly than when they are consumed as a component of curries.
2. In general, as Sri Lankans, we cook our curries for a longer period of time than is recommended, which is not a healthy habit from a health standpoint. Long periods of cooking could result in the loss of a sizeable portion of the ingredients’ inherent value.
3. Curcumin is not a substance that has the ability to be quickly absorbed by the body. Because of the piperine alkaloid, the combination of black pepper and turmeric results in a 2,000% boost in the body’s capacity to absorb curcumin. That’s how black pepper became as an essential component of golden milk products.
4. The primary objective of including turmeric in curry recipes is not to improve health, but rather to provide a desirable color, odor and a pleasant flavor. Therefore, the amount of curcumin that an individual gets into their body through eating curries is quite insignificant, and even that amount would not get fully absorbed due to the extensive cooking, the lack of pepper, among other factors. As a result, we cannot anticipate too many positive health effects from using turmeric in our cuisine.

How to prepare turmeric milk With fresh milk
Add 2/3 of a teaspoon of the golden milk powder mix into a cup of fresh milk and the mixture is being brought to a boil, while stir constantly to stop coagulants. You can adjust the amount of sugar or any other sweetener to suit your taste. It is ideal both with and without the addition of any sweetener. If you are going to sweeten it with bee honey, you need to wait until it has cooled down to at least 40 degrees Celsius.

With regular milk powder and sugar
In a glass, combine 2 tablespoons of milk powder with 2/3 of a teaspoon of golden milk powder. One cup of boiling water should be added after that, and everything should be thoroughly mixed. Add the sugar or any other sweetener of your choice at this point.

How to make a turmeric milk shake
Prepare your golden milk using one of the two ways described above, and then store it in the refrigerator until it get chilled. In the jar of a blender, place three scoops of vanilla ice cream, a few ice cubes, and then pour the cooled turmeric milk on top of it. After you have secured the lid and let the blender 30 seconds to run, your delectable milkshake containing turmeric will be ready.

Special Notes
1. It is recommended in Ayurveda to have hot turmeric milk at least an hour before bedtime. That’s the most efficient strategy for getting things done quickly.
2. Sedimentation is possible within few minutes after preparation of the Born in Nature Golden Milk mix because it is made from all natural materials. Before drinking, give it a good shake or mix. 3. On the other hand, you can use this powder mix in certain tasty recipes, such as milk shakes, and it will do you no damage but only good. 4. Soy milk, almond milk, or coconut milk are acceptable alternatives to cow’s milk for those who are vegan, vegetarian, or have lactose intolerance. 5. To notice the noticeable changes in health, it is advised to drink turmeric milk at least four days a week and to make it a regular for at least three months. If you can make it a lifelong ritual, that would be fantastic.
