Ceylon Cinnamon Black Tea Recipe

 Ingredients (One serving):

  • 1/2 teaspoon of Born in Nature Premium Ceylon Cinnamon Powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Ceylon loose-leaf black tea (or 1 black tea bag)
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon of Ceylon kithul treacle, honey, or palm jaggery (optional)
  • A slice of lemon or a few drops of lime juice (optional)

Instructions:

1. Boil Water

In a small pot or kettle, bring 1 cup of filtered water to a rolling boil.

2. Add Cinnamon & Tea

Add 1/2 tsp of Born in Nature Ceylon cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of Ceylon black tea to the boiling water. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.

3. Steep

Turn off the heat. Cover and let the mixture steep for another 3–5 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

4. Strain & Sweeten

Strain the tea into a cup. Stir in Ceylon kithul treacle, honey, or palm jaggery to taste.

5. Optional Zest

Add a slice of lemon or a few drops of lime juice for a refreshing twist.

6. Serve Hot
